I've just started playing this too, it's quite different fron the second and third. Took me a while to get used to the combat system, but overall I'm enjoying it. I didn't like it too terribly much either. I'm a completionist myself though, and doing all the side quests has been time consuming. Enjoying it well enough though. Chapter 2 is awesome. How exactly are you stuck? It's very easy to see what Quests are left to complete, and where to go to complete them.
